My paintings are reflections of how I experience the natural world - its beauty, presence, and quiet character. I draw my inspiration from wildlife, nature, still life and places I travel to with the aim of capturing small moments that are often overlooked. Through expressive, textured paintings I hope to capture not just a likeness but also a moment, a memory and character.

My process is a bit of an organised chaos: music or a film playing in the background, cups of tea on tap and allowing each painting to evolve instinctively, rather than chasing perfection. I hope to leave a bit of my personality too behind each brushstroke!

Art has always been part of my life. Encouraged from a young age, I spent many summers painting alongside my grandmother in France - working en plein air, gardening, and spotting birds and butterflies together. Those early experiences continue to shape the way I see and paint the world today.

Painting also helps me to find calm, clarity and joy away from the pace of everyday life. I hope to share that same sense of quiet pause, with a splash of energy and happiness, with each viewer, inviting us to slow down, look more closely, and find joy in the often-overlooked details of the world around us.
